A friend I met at a data analysis workshop recently told me about a CanadianIntegrated Security SystemWe got word that the provider, Genetec, has expanded into Japan. We immediately checked it out and found that it was not to be missed by Excel users!
Security Center GenetecThe platform, called "The Platform", is said to be able to centralize video surveillance and access control data. This is similar to organizing and analyzing data in Excel.
Even more surprising is the possibility of linking this system with Excel. For example, security data could be exported in CSV format for advanced analysis and visualization in Excel. Wouldn't it be wonderful to be able to streamline office security management while making use of your everyday Excel skills?
